Lucy you are one mean mean receptionist or nurse, whatever you ARE! The way you spoke to me today about me JUST calling about my labs after months of being ill and finally being able to get a doctor, you are a horrible person, I am so happy I recorded my call with you. It amazes me how nice Jackie (the doctor) is and the front of the desk is so unprofessional. I am doing what you guys asked of me everytime because all I want is to get better. YOU mentioned that I will be receiving a call today at noon and I had no call so after work I simply did MY part and called so I can get some clarity on my tests. As I’m talking you proceeded to say “Let me question you” question me ? Question me about what exactly!? I will NOT allow someone to speak to me in anyway AND MIND YOU, EVERYTIME I call you are always so rude but I’ve been patient with how miserable you are. We then go back and forth about me just wanting to know what my lab says and you proceed to tell me you can’t go in depth since your not my doctor maybe it was best to say “I am not comfortable reading them I think you should call tomorrow and wait for your doctor” then proceed to read my labs after yelling back and forth and talking to your little friend on the side while I was talking to you explaining how bad I’ve been feeling. I am so disappointed someone like this is ALLOWED to work in a doctors office, I pray for you and that you find some type of kindness and good will in your heart to care about your patients. You are a very unhappy person and portray that to people that are ill. You are someone who doesn’t deserve this position. I will be taking this matter further. The way my lab tests were read today as if you could careless casually just telling me I have a cyst in my stomach and saying after you can’t tell me anything else because you aren’t my doctor ? Why even bother telling me at all and leaving me with that. I’m so sad Jackie allows you to present her because you are not a good person.

Pretty disappointed with my care at this facility. Was told to go to lab corp for specimen collection by my provider. I had to bring a sample that was mishandled by staff and forgotten about over a month ago. Went untreated and still don’t have the results for the labs to this day. The follow up on my lab work was abysmal by the providers, and I was told later by the receptionist at advanced care medical that this is somehow a fault of mine and that I was supposed to be the one following up on it not them (something that was not told to me prior). Labs then became expired over time and were not able to be ran and I was very sick at the time they were completed. I am a healthcare professional myself and I was told by the receptionist “well you’re a nurse you should know how to label your specimens” which is wildly inappropriate considering I’m the patient in this scenario and labeling varies from facility to facility. The provider I saw took care of me, however I feel like I should be hearing more from her at this point and less from the medial assistants because I was not handled well at all. It’s really hard to be a patient in this day and age because there is a lot of carelessness and blame being put on the patient and a lack of consideration. Was also blown off about a concern regarding my breast- and my OBGYN said it was absolutely a concern and ordered me to see a breast specialist and get an ultrasound. If you consider going here make sure you know how to advocate for yourself.

I had been a patient of Dr Lo’s since the early 90’s. When he passed away, I was deeply saddened and also at a loss for a family doctor. After seeing a few other family doctors, all who were disappointing, I learned that Dr Lo’s practice had been taken over by Advanced Care Medical. The main reason I decided to give them a try was because of the front office staff. Lucy and Maria had been the front office staff for many years with Dr. Lo. They are both very personable and efficient. I know that when I call, either Maria or Lucy will answer. Not like so many other doctor’s offices where you have to leave a message and someone will return your call within 24 to 48 hours. That is a huge bonus. Both Dr Mangoba and Jaquolin, the Nurse Practitioner, are very kind and caring. I mostly see Jaquolin for my appointments. She is amazing!! She sits down and takes the time to really listen to my concerns. I never feel rushed and I feel very confident that I’m in good hands. I can’t say enough good things about this practice. I highly recommend them!!

Dr Lo has been my only doctor since I moved up here to California in 1979. Every year on my annual check up we would share our previous past year experiences. We would say to each other we are getting older together. He kept me healthy and sound throughtout the years.

Today I found out Dr. Lo has passed away on April 1st. Never in a million years was I prepared to hear this news of his passing while attempted to schedule my annual check up this year.

Dr. Lo you will be truly missed. Thank you for your soft approach on health recommendations and good advice. You are a pinnacle in your field of medicine.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lo's for at least 10 years now. He is very knowledgeable and patient and quick to make a diagnosis of my health problems. I would recommend him to anyone. His office staff are friendly and efficient. I am in and out of the office without wait time. (either in front office OR exam room)
