We moved to Arizona in 1990. Have lived in Phoenix, Glendale, North of Carefree highway until 2019. In that time we were without power maybe 3 or 4 times. Moved to Congress Az & have power outages 1 to 2 times a week. Becoming a ridiculous hassle! Always hope it's not out for a day+! Have to reset everything in the house. They get their payment every month but don't care if they give the service.

Tonto basin seems to have frequent power outages. It would be nice if they would discount our bill for the time the power is down. Any public service like aps will always have terrible customer service. Profit over service.

We use less and less energy every year, yet the bills keep going up. This company should be ashamed of itself. Total greedy operation they are running. Something needs to be done.

Noticed that an APS box was leaking and bulging. Chatted with APS about the problem that night. It was replaced by early next morning. Speedy when it really counts.

Horrible service, they are always raising rates and are very greedy. Plus the additional fees have skyrocketed. It's too bad they have a monopoly. It's no wonder their reviews are so poor. I definitely would stay away from APS if you can.

Absolutely terrible utility company. 25% rate increase coming in December. Increase in pprofit margin by 10%. The executives make over $20 million in compensation. They just got downgraded by fitch ratings. They claim to be supportive of green energy, but they reduce the residential solar buy back by 10% every year. Plus with the transition away from coal by 2031 and to 100% renewable energy by 2050; APS customers are going to be seeing minimum rate increases of 10 or more percent every year for the next 7 years. Who knows what the rates will be after that. Not to mention they are a monopoly…Ridiculous! I’m done. I’m going solar.

This is insane. Cancelled my service on Feb 1. JUST got a letter on June 22 from APS that was dated May 22nd that I owed $21 and their sending to collections. Never got ONE email or phone call. The post office never forwarded it to my new address since I MOVED. Which is what you do when you cancel service. I was on autopay with APS so they could’ve just charged my account. I just called and the guy says “we didn’t send to collections, I’ll transfer you to payment processing line” I tell him that I’m on aps.com and it says 0.00 balance/bill. So I’m assuming it was sent to collections. Gonna wreck my credit. It’s so hard to get housing without great credit. This company is so disorganized man we need more competition. I also echo other reviews. I’ve been gone for weeks at a time with everything unplugged and the bill was the same. Didn’t make sense.
