The nail technician threw away my phone, opened it, and used it. After that, she laughed at me and told me to leave. I was so shocked and cried a lot; I had never experienced anything like this before. I came for a nail service, but the nail polish fell off after just one day. The receptionist told me to sit down and said Angie would redo my nails. Angie, who is Asian with yellow hair and wearing a black uniform, told me she had another customer. I said I was her customer and that the receptionist told me she would fix my nails. She said no, that my nails looked fine and she had another customer, so I should leave. I was so shocked when she walked away. I took a photo of the shop to review it, but then she came to me, shouting and trying to get my phone. She pushed me to get my phone, and I was so shocked I froze. She then clicked on my phone, did whatever she wanted, and deleted the photo. I told her it was my phone and my privacy, but she still used it, laughed, and challenged me. I cried a lot at the salon and asked to see the manager, but the receptionist told me he was busy. I asked what to do next. My nails were damaged, my phone was scratched all over, and all the nail technicians laughed. The receptionist said she didn’t know anything and called the manager, who said he was busy. How can Lo spa nails store treat customers like this? I will update you soon.

I hardly leave negative reviews, but I want to warn people like me - do not expect a great experience. I got a technician who didn’t really know what she was doing, and I will admit she tried very hard - my nails on my left hand look great. However, I told her so nicely three times that she put my pinky nail on slightly crooked on my right hand, but she just said “the pinky is hard to line up correctly” and didn’t attempt to redo it… this is a very drastic difference between nail salons I’ve been to, where they obviously want you to be satisfied. I sadly would recommend going elsewhere 🙁

I was visiting from out of town and looking for a professional, clean and stylish place to get my nails done for my wedding with my mother and LO was amazing. They were easy to make an appointment with. The salon itself was bright, clean and comfortable. The stylists were super helpful with guiding us to the colors we could chose from based on our appointments and there was a great variety. We got gel pedicures and gel manicures. Our technicians were both meticulous and detail oriented. My toes look phenomenal! My mother had just gel done on her nails and those also look great and still look great over a week later.
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is for my nails. From the top they are gorgeous but the tech did not get the acrylic flush to my nail so there are gaps between the acrylic and my natural nail. This was the first time I got the acrylic extensions so I didn’t realize they were wrong until later. I would definitely still go back but be a bit more attentive in the process.

Today was my first time visiting Lo Spa and Nails. My 10 year old daughter and I both received manicures. I received a no-chip manicure and my daughter a regular manicure. The service was absolutely amazing!! Our manicurist took their time, were welcoming and handled our hands with perfection. Not only was the service exceptional but the place was clean and sterile. They went above and beyond to ensure the clients felt safe and followed the suggestions made by the CDC. Thank you!! Can’t wait to return!!

Adding to this review after being a long time customer!! I Still love Lo Spa and Nails (south loop)!! I bring my daughter for manicures and pedicures from time to time as well!! Everyone is amazing but my usual manicurist is Angie! Eric who I believe is the co-owner is so warm and professional! The services and care provided at this place is worth every penny!!

Hi tried this place because my friend gave me a gift card I sat down and the lady asked me if I wanted my nail cut I said just alittle and and clipped way to low and hit my quick and I started bleeding instantly, she then proceeded to put a blue liquid on it to stop the bleeding it did not stop bleeding and it burned my skin so much. I tried to tell her to rinse it off with water and she tried to put more blue liquid on there. She did not understand anything I was trying to say. She then continued to “ cut my cuticles “ which consisted of her touching my skin with the clippers. I do not suggest this place and I would be very surprised if anyone enjoyed a pedicure here.

This is my third and last time going here. I just went late last night to get a ‘no chip’ pedicure and paid over $60. Woke up this morning and Three of my nails had the nail polish completely removed from the nail. As a nail tech, this is not at all normal, and shows signs of there being thinner in the nail polish. This is the first time something like this happened with them from my experiences. But I will not be going back, $60 for a ‘no chip’ pedicure is too expensive for them to not even last a couple hours of sleep! If you’re looking for a place to go where this won’t happen. I would completely recommend NAILàCARTE! They have multiple locations, and so graciously offered to fix my nails on the way to work this morning after hearing my terrible experience.
